Providence Housing was established in March 2009 to address the unprecedented high demand and short supply of affordable housing stock in Australia and manage the delivery of affordable housing under the National Rental Affordability Scheme (“NRAS”).

Providence was successful in securing 1,296 incentives in Round 3 of NRAS allocations across five Central Activities Districts in Melbourne.

Providence has partnered with some of Australia’s most reputable developers to deliver quality affordable housing throughout Victoria.

With the introduction of the National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS), the traditional low yield and high risk characteristics of residential property investment can now be supplemented with a decade-long Federal and State Government incentive and tax off-set scheme that sets the stage for a more viable residential investment model.
